Learn MoreNavigating Postpartum and Early Parenthood
The early weeks of parenthood—often called the 4th trimester—are filled with rapid changes, sleepless nights, and deep emotional adjustments. This workshop is designed to help couples transition into this new phase of life. We’ll develop strategies to achieve more balance and less resentment and frustration. With a focus on teamwork, communication, and realistic expectations, we’ll learn and practice tools to support and uplift one another during the 4th trimester and beyond.
What We’ll Cover:
- Parenting 101: What kind of parent am I? What kind of parent are you? What kind of parents are we?
- Role Strain Roulette: How do we maintain balance in our household? Who does what? What expectations am I bringing to this experience? What am I supposed to do with all this resentment?
- Staying Strong: How do I reenvision, reimagine, and rekindle my romantic relationship with my partner, now that we are three (or four or five or nine or ten)?
- Future Goals: Where do we want to be, as a couple and a family unit, on the first day of kindergarten?
This class will help you feel more prepared, supported, and connected as you navigate life with a newborn.
