"Wellness is not a state of mind, but a state of action."

- Emily and Amelia Nagoski, Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle

At Threaded Wellness, we know – parenthood is hard.

We want to help you connect to more ease, more joy, and more confidence as you go through it.

Maybe it’s heavy already.

Maybe, like 62% of parents in America, this whole parenting thing is way harder than you expected. Maybe you’re managing a postpartum mood disorder, or you’re having a hard time adjusting to so much change, or you’re burnt out by the demands of parenting, or your birth experience was really scary.

Whatever weight you’re carrying, you are not alone. Threaded Wellness can help.

Maybe you’re gearing up.

Maybe you’re pregnant or talking about trying, and you know you’ve got some stuff that makes you worried. Maybe you’re already managing depression or anxiety or relationship issues or trauma from growing up. Maybe you really want a healthy, happy postpartum experience.

Whatever you’re preparing for, Threaded Wellness can help.

Hi, I'm Megan. I'm here to help you put the mask on yourself.

Hi, I’m Megan, a parent and perinatal mental health practitioner with over a decade of experience. If you’re feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or just unsure of what to expect next, you’re in the right place. Parenting is a journey filled with every emotion imaginable, and it’s perfectly okay to feel them all, sometimes in the span of a few hours.

At Threaded Wellness, we believe that being a good parent is better than trying to be a perfect parent. We’re here to guide you toward feeling grounded and supported as you grow into this life-changing role.

"After my trauma workshop with Megan, I have noticed a marked improvement in my ability to reflect on my birth experience and introduction to motherhood. It feels for the first time since Adler was born (Feb 2024), I am able to look at photos and videos of him as a fresh newborn and not feel sadness or heartbreak. I am now able to look at my experience and feel strong. I am able to articulate the experience much more confidently, and not feel I have to hide it from others when talking about my birth story."

"I am forever grateful for the support and care I receive from Megan. We initially started working together during the absolute hardest time of my life - deeply struggling with postpartum OCD - I was completely lost with little faith that things were ever going to get better. Our sessions gave me hope. Through her empathy, expertise and dedication, she provided me with practical, effective tools that helped me regain control of my life. Years later, I still rely on those tools to guide me through challenging times. "

"Cincinnati families are fortunate to have Megan’s expertise in our community. Her clinical skills are changing lives. With honesty and compassion, she guides her clients step by step through the messy and confusing moments, helping them see challenges from a new perspective. As a doula and group facilitator in the postpartum space, I am often asked for referrals to therapists (for moms, their partners, or couples' counseling). Megan is always at the top of my list, especially for those navigating perinatal trauma, striving for equitable and fulfilling parenting partnerships, or working to heal from their own experiences with parents and caregivers.
